My name is Meagan Scott. I am 17 years old and attending Monsignor Scanlan, a school in Manhattan, New York, in the 12th grade. As a Senior preparing for the future, I am eager to continue advancing academically and athletically. From first learning how to play basketball from a young age and to joining athletic teams at 6, learning how to efficiently balance my time and day-to-day life on and off the court, field, and rink has positively affected how I organize my duties. In the meantime, a supportive environment with friends and family encourages me to commit. Overall, experiencing and having access to essential opportunities is one way I would like to develop as a student, athlete, and companion. As I welcome you to my journey as a high school basketball player, I am excited to share my experiences with you all. Playing basketball has always been my passion and I love the thrill of the game.
“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."
- Muhammad Ali
In my free time, I produce music and am currently learning how to sample.
I would be a figure skater if my time was dedicated to something other than basketball. I have been ice skating since six years old.
I can play piano, guitar, and drums. I am a self-taught pianist. While I mainly play these three instruments, I have played the violin and trombone.
Today @ 1:00 PM, Meagan plays her championship game against Christ the King at Manhattan College. Come and show your support!
